According to the schedule, construction works under the project to establish the KCC are in progress. The reconstruction of the former library building is at the most advanced stage.

Finishing works (finishing of ceilings and installation of window woodwork) are currently in progress in the future Kociewian Centre for Education and Culture. Works have also moved inside the Gate House (DTIC’s seat). The floors are being replaced and new plaster is being made.

The renovation of the House of the Artist, the former House of the Sisters, is also in full swing. After the demolition, damp-proofing of the walls of the 19th century building has begun.

In August, a representative of the Pomeranian Province Monument Conservator came to Pelplin. The works carried out so far have been assessed without any objections.
